Went to pick up my car today from speedware motorsports. They did a mount balance, alignment and corner weight on the car. I had never weighed the car before so I was real curious as to what the total weight of the car would be. With my weight in the drivers seat and 3/4 tank of fuel my hog came in at a LOFTY 3700lbs!!! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I was figureing it would be in the 3300-3400 but HOLY SCHNIKIES! 3700lbs! My car is a fricken road tank!

On the bright side the coner weighting came in at 50.1% (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) and front to rear is 51% and 49%. I am pretty damn happy with those numbers.

when I got the car on the freeway it tracked like a missile down the road. This is the first time I have had a custom alignment done. I cant believe I havent been doing this from day 1.

LUXURIES!!  WHAT LUXURIES!!

This thing is STRIPPED.  The only big chunk of weight I havent removed is the heater core.  But there isnt any way to do that with my cage.

Oh yeah. I had forgotten how your car looked. 3700 pounds gave me an image of a bank of subwoofers that kept your car 'ass heavy.'

I remember people saying 18lbs for the whole passenger airbag and the metal support, and another 9lbs for the heater core. Only another 127 pounds after that and you will meet you goal. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
