Howdy, Where's everyone buying parts at discount these days? I'm thinking I'm needing two new front upper control arms for the c5 z06... They both look like this now: (IMG:http://www.maracing.com/misc/DSCN0218.JPG) (IMG:http://www.maracing.com/misc/DSCN0219.JPG) Mark |

Aren't there some 'updated' C5 control arms available? I seem to remember a friend pounding his out and he got the 'updated' set. Don't know if it was upper or lower, though.

There are T1 parts from GM that supposedly have stiffer rubber bushings, which I'd put on there if this was a street car vs. an SS autox car. AFAIK those parts were never called for via supercede or TSB. Mark |

I remember a friend with an early Z06 (IIRC, '02 or '03) who had bushing problems and had to replace control arms. He indicated he got the 'updated versions'. He was an annual pilgrim to Mecca, er, Topeka. He ran in SS. This post has been edited by CrashTestDummy: Aug 12 2011, 12:40 PM |
