What would you pick and why? They show photos of the 350's on track but don't list the track or any specific times. I'd like to see Randy Pobst compare both 350's to the '16 Z28.

"Despite the Z/28's massive torque advantage, it's no quicker than the GT350R. They're pretty close to even—which is exactly what you'd expect given their similar weight-to-power ratios."

The new supercharged Z06's have major heat soak problems, the naturally aspirated Camaros and Mustangs do not. I've personally seen a new Z06 struggle to keep cool during a lapping event in the summer months. Why GM chose to ruin that car with a supercharger is beyond me.

It's because 99% of people who buy those cars won't ever see a track.

True, but let the gold chain poseurs, and 'waxers' buy either the base cars, or if they need some 'exclusivity', the boosted ZR1 if and when that is released.

I can only imagine that air bags in every seam must be the law these days, 'cause I can't see how any Driver would want a 200# seat that's full of air bags. There's a LOT of weight in crap like that. Make 'em lighter, and the performance, mileage and emissions compliance will follow.

But that's just me.
