I was going ask the same thing. It looks like a metallic charcoal; certainly not a factory color.
2 years ago I got the 6LE Designs sail panel to fix my bubbles. It still took some work for the shop I took it to, to peel the old one off and put the new one on. Since then I can say that the body shop could have put another couple hours in laying down some more filler on it - there are some areas where I can see some cross hatch marks, like fiberglass high spots (or something). It was a nice piece but not 100% factory perfect. I'm certainly satisfied with it as an AX car mostly, but from 6 inches you can see some things that aren't perfect. It's 1000x better than my old panel with all its weeping and drippy marks. |
