QUOTE That's why I painted them "brake dust color" (I don't know why they don't just name it that). And that's exactly why I want to do the same. Getting tired of having to religiously clean my wheels every weekend, and still have visible brake dust on them two days later. I haven't cleaned my wheels in a whopping three weeks now, and the fronts in particular are pretty much the color you painted yours, with the inner portion just being a slightly lighter shade. I'll probably lay some newspaper down when I paint mine though, if only because I don't have a lawn that will grow back, but just a paved driveway that hopefully will never do any sort of growing. |
