Crank up your speakers real loud.... This is what a 427 with 540 na hp sounds like. Listen to the idle at the end. It's a Lingenfelter engine.

But that's an iron block.
I've always been impressed that you can buy an engine with 500-800 hp and get a two year 24,000 mile warranty. Yes, you pay the big bucks but like someone else said here, you drop off your car, and when you come back, you have a totally different car. You know exactly what you're getting, no surprises. *And* you know it's done right. Can you do it cheaper? Absolutely. And most people up here would. But for some of the rich people like me (yes, I am dreaming... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ), I wouldn't mind letting the Lingenfelter people have my car anytime they'd like it. Hell, I'm still waiting for Tuner Transformation to call... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) |
