Crank up your speakers real loud.... This is what a 427 with 540 na hp sounds like. Listen to the idle at the end. It's a Lingenfelter engine.

I just read this from the link the Jon posted about intake manifolds.... go figure. This is a quote from a Lingenfelter owner...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` ...I'm slightly biased because I have one of their engines, but I've raced the crap out of the car for 10 years and have never even had the valve covers off..Ran an 11.90 last weekend at 117 mph on radials with 3.42s...Not bad for a ten year old motor...My car is going back in March for a freshening and this conversion. I'll let everyone know what happens.. __________________ 1995 Formula, Lingenfelter 383 (10 YEARS OLD!!!!), Vigilante 3600 Stall, 3.42 gears, BFG Drag Radials...11.70s @ 118.5 1.69 60'...25 mpg.. don't know how it does it either...Rest in peace, John, we'll miss you... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
