Thanks for the stars Stan! Gene...it will be AP or CP legal depening on what weight I want to run. I'll have to add a BUNCH to run CP unless I use a smaller motor or something. However I'm sure it'll make it to some cone-dodging events! As well as DEs, roadracing and open road racing. And oh yes, I've thought about making quickbrackets for lights and a horn and being able to drive it on the street. Heh heh. Costas cars and such... |

Thanks guys.. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) I live in San Antonio. Five guys (WDMS Crewdogs, two of them on this board) are showing up Friday night for a two-day thrash. With any luck I'll be at a dyno shop the following weekend doing break-in and baseline tuning. After that, I'll be pulling every string I can find to get some track time and get the suspension/aero/brakes sorted out. If I get a weekend or a day up at MSR-C you wanna come help? The car will be setup with a DL1 and an LCD dash (DASH2) and I've got IR tire sensors (only 3...so I gotta do one tire at a time) so hopefully I can dial in the suspension pretty quick. But there will be tons to do...reliability first, speed second (normally safety first, but I've got that covered). I really really want to do well at the UTCC. I've always learned new tracks pretty fast, but this car is gonna be a whole lot quicker than anything else I've driven (s2000, atlantic, ff, asedan, ITS, etc). Hopefully I can get on top of the learning curve quickly and lay the f-body smackdown at VIR. Costas cars and such... |

Warren Motorsports Complex is 15 minutes from MSR-C. The place is at your disposal if needed. FYI ... MSR-C has a shop there with a dyno if needed and Performance Speed Tech is a full service speed shop. Let me know when you are coming out and I'll be there to fetch wrenches. Burgers at Grumps is a must. |
