Kevin, when you buy the Hi-Def + cover combo, it does come with the software installation files and license, right? So all you need is the PDA to install the software on.

Edit: Nevermind I see that it does acording to the site.

How do you connect the camera(s) which are mentioned earlier in this thread?

Were are you guys going to use the cover? There is no metal on the outside of the car.

Is the magnet strong enough to go through/stay on the Blain Fab CF roof?

Ok. Covers will be included at the $318 price. Shipping is $15 and paypal fees of roughly 3.5%. I show that as $344.66 for the total for the base system. I believe the 10hz version is going to be the same price (waiting for final clarification from MaxQ). If you need a pocket PC, etc, add $200 and 3.5% to that total. If you are not sure, just send me a pm or post up your questions and we'll try to get this done.

glaser(dot)kevin(at)att(dot)net is my paypal address or PM for a mailing address if you'd rather send a money order.

Thanks!

It won't work on my hood (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif)

I wonder if it works through Lexan?

it will likely work thru the 4th gen glass. there has been issues w/ newer cars and the metalic heat/UV reflective coating on the glass.
i think you couls also mount a small square of metal to the roof. paint it to match and it will not stand out too bad.

otherwise, get a small pelican case for it.

Or just lay duct tape down both sides of the cover.

That is correct.

And, yes the MQGPS-HiDef is going to be the same price, you get your choice (someone asked earlier).
