Well my shop is pretty bad (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) I don't get to come home very much, about 3 days a month. So this is how it ends up with the trash before and after an event. And a motor swap.......I'm off to work (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif) How do you have time to race if you are only home for 3 days a month? My shop isn't quite as messy, but I have less free floor space than you: (IMG:http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o33/StanIROCZ/Garage/DSC03257.jpg) Its not fair that your garage is 8x bigger than mine:( But I have a machine shop: (IMG:http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o33/StanIROCZ/Garage/DSC03262.jpg) (lathe is at work) My TIG machine takes up about 10 sq feet: (IMG:http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o33/StanIROCZ/Garage/DSC03263.jpg) Also in that pic is MarkA's tubing bender that I should have given back to him about 5 months ago... sorry Mark. |

Stan, That's a nice workbench. Did you build it, or get it from somewhere? I have some plans for a workbench I haven't executed yet, so I'm always open to other ideas. I plan on bolting it to the back wall, and make it about 1/2 the length of the back wall, with room for tool boxes, engine stands, and such. |

It has a 3x5' hardwood Maple top that started out as 3 pieces that I got on from the kennedy tool box clearance store. I had my brother take it to wood shop to plane, glue, belt sand, and varnish. The base is built from scrap 2x4's, 2x2's and plywood. I'm using the tupperware containers as drawers/storage containers. This post has been edited by StanIROCZ: Jul 29 2009, 09:51 PM |
